Ellis County Records by the Daughters of the American Revolution

The Texas Genealogical Records, Ellis County, compiled by Mrs. A. L. Feltenberger and the Rebecca Boyce Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution between 1954 and 1970, includes unique records and accounts of the history of Ellis County, Texas, including family Bible records, family histories, church histories, cemetery records, wills, and marriage records, Ellis County pioneers, school records and histories, and biographical sketches of the people of Ellis County.

 

It provides details about the Parson’s Texas Cavalry Brigade from 1861 to 1865 as well as other military records.

 

This digitization project was funded by the Friends of Sims Library and is hosted by the University of North Texas’ Portal to Texas History.
