Adapted Social Hour

An interactive, inclusive program ideal for children with special needs such as autism spectrum disorders, sensory integration challenges or short attention spans. Activities are designed to incorporate SEL (Social Emotional Learning) skills and allow children and their caregivers a space to socialize. Registration required at www.simslib.org/register

Supporting Neurodivergent Access to Library Programs Adapted programs are sensory-friendly and targeted toward the needs of neurodivergent children, teens, adults and their families/caregivers. Neurodivergent includes autism spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD, Tourette's and other developmental and learning disabilities.
