Curbside Pickup

Curbside Instructions

  1. Place your items on hold by calling the library (972-937-2671 Ext. 0) or using the online catalog.

  2. You will receive a notification when your items are ready to be picked up (text, email, or phone).

    • Once you receive this notification, you MUST contact the library to schedule a time for pick up. You will be able to choose a 1/2 hour time slot for pick up.

  3. Once you arrive, park in any available space, once staff has moved away from the designated pickup spot you may approach to pick up your items.

    • If someone else is picking up an item please remember to social distance and consider waiting until they have moved away to gather your items.​​

  4. Items will be labeled with a hold page containing your name.​

A Few Reminders

  1. Curbside pickup is limited to 10 items per card or 20 items per household.

  2. Your library card must be current and in good standing (no lost or damaged items on your account).

  3. You MUST have received notice that your requested items are ready before calling to schedule a pickup time. 

  4. Special items such as Ozobots are not available for curbside pick up.

  5. The library reserves the right to cancel or limit curbside pick up due to inclement weather or limited staffing. *All Curbside will be canceled in the event of rain.

  6. This service is for picking up items on hold ONLY. No other transactions will be handled curbside. All returns must be placed in the book drops to be sanitized. 

  7. Please respect the safety of our staff and keep the recommended 6ft social distancing requirement. 

  8. Please have your ID or library card with you at the time of pick up.
