Sims Library offers hundreds of Genealogical
references, including microfilm, electronic,
and print format. Our microfilm collection
contains the archives of the Waxahachie Daily
Light newspaper (1902-present) and the
Waxahachie Enterprise (1876-1931), as well
as other local newspapers from Ellis County.

We will also do obituary research for patrons
who cannot visit the library in person. The library
charges $5 per name and 20¢ per page for copies
of obituaries or newspaper articles.
